Adding Extra Attempts for a Learner

FlexiQuiz allows you to create a quiz and set how many times learners can attempt it. You can also choose to allow retakes only if a learner receives a failing grade, or allow them to retry only the questions they answered incorrectly.

If a learner has already used all their attempts, you can manually give them additional attempts. This guide shows you how.

How to add an extra attempt for learners

1. To start, create a quiz and set the maximum number of quiz attempts. Learn more about setting the maximum number of quiz attempts.
2. Share the quiz with your learners. If they have no more attempts available, you can add more.
3. Go to the Analyze screen and select the Individual Summary report type.
4. Locate the learner.
5. Click select action.
6. From the drop-down menu, choose add extra attempts.
7. A window will appear that allows you to enter the number of extra attempts you want to give the learner.
8. Click save.

The learner now has extra attempts to complete the quiz.
