Sharing answers during the quiz

With FlexiQuiz, you can set up a quiz to score, show correct answers and give feedback to respondents as they go through your quiz.

Instead of waiting until the end, respondents can see if they get the question right or wrong when they get to the bottom of each page. By sharing feedback immediately, respondents can quickly understand where they went right or wrong helping their development and engagement.


How to share answers during the quiz

  1. To start, create a quiz or edit an existing one.

  2. Next, from the Configure screen, select Results from the left-hand menu.
  3. Tick the box Show answers during quiz.

  5. Once you are ready to share your quiz, select the Publish tab to open the quiz and share it with your students.

Share custom feedback: You can share custom feedback based on respondents giving the right or wrong answer.

Customize navigation buttons: Change the button text to any language so that learners can easily understand how to progress.


How scoring responses during a quiz works for students

Students will take the test in the usual way.

At the bottom of every page, they press the Save button. The FlexiQuiz system will instantly save and automatically mark the student's responses.

Students will see the following responses:

  • Green tick: Appears next to the correct response given by the student.
  • Red cross: Appears next to the incorrect response given by the student.
  • Blue tick: The blue tick shows next to the correct response if the student gave a wrong or no answer.
  • If you have selected to show feedback, students will see the relevant feedback in a box.

Frequently asked questions

Can respondents go back and change their response after they have seen the answers?

No, once learners press Save, they cannot amend their response.

If you have selected Allow previous page navigation, students can go back to view the question, their response and any feedback but they cannot change their answer.

If you allow multiple attempts, students can start the quiz again and respond.


What happens if I have a time limit per page?

Learners will automatically go to the next page if the page time limit expires. They will not see the correct answer or any scoring.

Can I also show a results page at the end of the quiz?

Yes, you can show a custom results page at the end of the quiz, including the total number of points the learner earns.
