Can I add a question with zero points?

Yes, with FlexiQuiz, you can add a question where learners do not earn points.

You may choose not to award points for:

  • individual questions, or
  • the entire quiz.

    • A non-scored quiz is ideal when there are no right or wrong answers, such as for:

  • Feedback forms,
  • Surveys,
  • Personality tests,
  • Opinion polls,
  • Training activities,
  • Fun icebreaker questions.

How do I add a question with zero points?

To start, create a new quiz or edit an existing one.

  1. From the Create tab, add your question.
  2. In the Points box, enter 0.
  3. Click Save to add your question to the quiz.

Learners will now get zero points on this question.


The FlexiQuiz system automatically configures a classic quiz to display a Results screen that includes a Review answers report. The report will show all responses as wrong if the question awards zero points.

You can customize the experience for your learners, for example:

  • You can remove the scoring from the results page or omit the results page altogether.
  • You can remove the scoring from the Review Answer report.
  • Customize all navigation and progress messages to reflect the type of activity you are creating.

Can I remove the scoring from the Review Answer report and PDF?

Yes, you can remove scoring from the Review Answers report displayed on learners' screens or in notification emails.

To remove the marking from all questions on the report:

  1. Go to the Configure screen and select Results from the left-hand menu.
  2. Scroll down to Review answers report.
  3. Then tick and untick the relevant boxes. To remove scoring and marking from the report, untick the boxes show question marking and show question points.

The FlexiQuiz system automatically saves your updates.

It is not possible to remove the marking from Admin reports saved on your Analyze screen.


Can I remove scoring on the Results page?

Yes, you can customize the results screen to show relevant information for your learners.

To customize the Results screen on your survey, personality test or training materials:

  1. Go to the Configure screen and select Results from the left-hand menu. From the Results tab, you can customize the results page or choose not to show one.
  2. Untick the boxes that you do not want to appear, such as Results, Grade, and Percentage Score.
  3. You can also add a message at the top of the results page to provide your audience with relevant information.

Do I have to include a Results page at the end of the survey?

No. You do not need to display the results page at the end of your survey or feedback form.

To remove the results page from a quiz:

  1. Go to the Configure screen and select Results from the left-hand menu.
  2. Untick Show results page.
