Automatically sending all learners to the next quiz after completion

You can redirect all learners to the next quiz after they complete the first one for seamless quiz to quiz navigation.

FlexiQuiz offers various redirect options, including sequential learning paths, grade-based redirects, and options for learners to choose their next activity. You can direct learners to another quiz, URL, or learning materials.

This guide shows you how to set up a sequential learning path, where all learners follow the same activities in the same order.

How to set up a sequential learning path

  1. To start, create the quizzes and training materials that you want to include as part of your learning path.
  2. Then go to the first quiz in your learning path. Navigate to the Configure screen and select General from the left-hand menu.
  3. Scroll down the page and tick the box Redirect on quiz completion.
  4. From the drop-down menu, select Quiz.

  6. Press Select a Quiz and choose your second test from the drop-down menu.
  7. To add a third test in the learning path, go to the second quiz and repeat the sets above. You can continue this process for up to ten quizzes in the learning path.
  8. Now you can now customize the learner experience. Learners can view their results before proceeding or automatically access the second quiz upon submitting the first test.

How to automatically redirect learners to the next quiz without sharing results

You can redirect learners to the next quiz without viewing their results between each quiz. Learners press the submit button, and the new quiz automatically appears.

Follow these steps to now show results between each quiz.

  1. Once you have set up your learning path, go to the first quiz.
  2. Click on the Configure tab and select Results from the left hand menu.
  3. Then, uncheck the box Show results page.

How to redirect learners from the results screen

Learners can track their progress between each quiz. You can customize the results screen by choosing the share their score, time taken and responses.

The FlexiQuiz system is configured to show a results page at the end of each quiz. A button appears for learners to click when they are ready to move to the next activity.

You can configure the text and color of the button from your Theme screen. To customize the navigation button:

  1. Go to the Configure screen and select Theme from the left-hand menu.
  2. Then select the messages tab.
  3. Scroll down the page to the following message option.
  4. Navigation button text that Admins can customize

Previewing the redirect journey

We recommend that you preview the test-taker experience to ensure it works as intended.

  1. Go to the first quiz and press Preview on the top right.
  2. Complete the quiz and press submit.
  3. When you're ready, press Next to begin the following quiz.

How to display a results summary for all quizzes.

  1. Start by building your sequential learning path.
  2. Then, go to the last quiz in your redirect chain.
  3. From the Configure screen, select Results on the left-hand menu.
  4. Now, choose the information you want to display on the final results screen, such as custom grades, name, and score.
  5. Scroll down the page and tick the box show redirected quiz results.
  6. Tick box to share a summary of all quiz results in learning path

The results screen on the last quiz will now show a summary of the results for all quizzes in the chain.

How do quiz redirects work if I assign the test to a learner's Respondent portal?

Start by assigning the first quiz in the learning path to the Respondent portal.

Additional quizzes in the learning path are added to the learner portal when the learner submits the relevant quiz.
