How to reset your FlexiQuiz password

This guide shows you how to change your FlexiQuiz password when you log into your account.

Admins, Trainers, and Respondents can reset their password online if an email address is linked to their account.

Main Admins can also reset the password for other users in their group.

If you enter the wrong password too many times, your account will be locked for 30 minutes.

How to reset your password from the login page

1. From the FlexiQuiz home page, click Login
2. Then click Forgot password?

3. Enter your Username, which should be an email address.

4. Click Reset password. If you have entered a username with a valid email attached, we will send you an email with a unique link to update your password. The link is valid for up to 24 hours. If you do not receive the email, please check the details you have entered and your junk or spam folders.
5. Once you receive the email, click on the link and enter a secure new password. The password must meet the FlexiQuiz secure password requirements.

Your password is instantly updated. You can log in to your FlexiQuiz account with your username and new password.

How to reset your password from your settings screen

All Admins and Trainers have access to a Personal Settings screen. However, depending on how their account is configured, Respondents may not have access to this screen.

If you are a Respondent and cannot access Personal Settings, please contact your account Admin or the person who invited you to take the test.

To reset your password from your personal Settings screen:

1. When you are logged into your FlexiQuiz account, click Settings on the top menu.
2. From your settings page, select Password from the left-hand menu.
3. Add your current password.
4. Enter your new password and reconfirm.
5. Click Change password.

A confirmation message will appear confirming that the password has been updated. The next time you log in, you will need to use your new password.

How to reset a user's password

If you are a main Admin, Admin, or Trainer, you can reset the passwords of other users in your group.

1. Log into your FlexiQuiz account and select Users from the top menu. Your users dashboard will appear with a list of all users in your group.
2. Find the user on your dashboard.
3. Click on the user to open their profile.
4. Click Reset password.

5. Enter a password that meets FlexiQuiz security requirements or generate a random password.
6. Click Reset.
7. Share the new password with the account holder.

How to reset a password and email the user

If the user has a password linked to their account, you can resend a welcome email with a new password.

1. Go to the user's profile page.
2. Scroll down the page and click Resend welcome email.
3. A message will appear to confirm the reset of the user's password. You can enter a new password or use the password that the FlexiQuiz system randomly generates.

4. Once you are ready to send the email, click Reset. A window will pop up to confirm the welcome email is queued for sending.

What happens if I have not received the password reset email?

If you do not receive the reset email after 30 minutes, check the following:

• Ensure that you entered the correct email address linked to your account. If you are not sure, your main Admin can check your account details.
Check that the email has not been sent to your junk or spam folder.

What happens if I have an issue logging in with the new password?

If you have any issues logging in with your new password, please follow these steps:

• Ensure your browser isn't storing outdated login information.
• Clear your cache and cookies.
• Try a new browser or close and reopen your current browser.
