Performing sacrifice to seek nearness to a righteous person or to a jinn are examples of shirk.

Meat that has been sacrificed with the intent of seeking nearness to other than Allaah is forbidden to eat, unless the one slaughtering said “Bismillaah” at the time of the slaughter.

Oaths/Vows are an act of worship that the Muslims are recommended, commanded, and obligated to perform often.

In Islam, vows are not encouraged, but if a person makes a vow regarding obedience to Allaah, then it is obligatory to fulfill it.

A proof brought by the author for An-Nadhr as an act of worship was the ayah: يُوفُونَ بِالنَّذْرِ وَيَخَافُونَيَوْمًا كَانَ شَرُّهُ مُسْتَطِيرًا They (are those who) fulfill (their) vows, and they fear a Day whose evil will be wide-spreading. (Al-Insan 76:7)

When الإسلام (Islaam) and الإيمان (Al-Eemaan) are mentioned together, then each word has a distinct meaning.

It is not permissible to mention الإسلام (Islaam) and الإيمان (Eemaan) individually, because it is not permissible to separate Islaam from Eemaan.
