Critical Care Principles for Providers- Registration
During 2016 and 2017, the MT Flex Program & MT Trauma Systems combined efforts in a project involving 17 critical access hospitals aimed towards improving reimbursement for trauma related services. Through that project, a knowledge gap was identified in regards to proper documentation of the critical care time spent by medical providers while caring for critically ill or injured patients. The goal of this program is to increase physician knowledge of critical care requirements and the documentation necessary for accurately reflecting critical care time.
