Patient Advocacy, Ethics and Professional Boundaries, and Pain and Patient Management

     This course is NCBTMB Approved

The goal of a patient advocate program is to train people to work on a one-to-one basis with older adults, persons who are ill or hospitalized, and others who need assistance managing chronic illnesses and medical conditions.  This American Health Source continuing education (CE) program will introduce you to the requirements of working with patients as a patient advocate.  This CE program meets the mandatory CE requirements for many states toward massage therapist license renewal including CE hours in patient management, ethics and professional boundaries, and pain management.

Upon completion of the course material and of the accompanying quiz, six (6) CEs are awarded with a certificate of completion for this continuing education program from American Health Source which is an NCBTMB approved CE provider.

Note:  CE programs on this web page are for purchase by American Health Source and American Medical Massage Members Only.
