I’ve been getting lots of calls our online workshops, especially if they’ll be able to learn office tools like word, excel, and . So, I think we should include that in the speciality courses.

I’d like to sign up for that course myself, since I’ve been having a tough time with the full scope of those programs. I know the gist of them all, but sometimes I get totally and stuck for hours with simple formatting.

Director

Well, I hardly think these 2-hour workshops will be covering the full range of of any of those. What we’re after is introducing the basic functions and use so that people can write a basic . I mean we have to keep in mind that some of the clients being referred have a tough time with turning a computer on.

Guess I’m out of luck then. So, will we be having groups of 5 as we did last time and rotating the ? Or are we going to be looking at it differently because we need the room?

I was wondering the same thing. I also heard that their level varies between high-beginner and low-intermediate, so we’re going to have to tone it down for the lower levels, and we’ll probably have to limit what we teach in those cases too. We definitely don’t want any of that techy jumbo.

Director

Absolutely, and for that reason, I was thinking of the workshops by 30-minutes. That way we could clarify the basics to the lower groups and add an extra for the higher levels. Or we could have 2-sessions instead of 3.

I like the idea of the extra 30-minutes because we could still cover the three . The more that they could learn, the more that they could expand their options. After all, we’re trying to them with more career tools.

I’m totally on your page, again since we want to just the basics, it makes sense. I’m just about being able to manage them well in the computer room, it can get pretty tight in here.

Director

I’ve already been looking into the room , and I think we’ll just transfer the computers into the larger room. That way we could have more space and we could also use the larger TV, which would really the presentations.
