Fundamentals of Homeosomatic Medical Massage Therapy

This is an introduction to the fundamental principles of medical massage. This course covers medical massage therapy from its history and development, the training and education of medical massage therapists, basic theories and concepts of medical massage therapy, types and kinds of massage, a comparison of therapeutic and medical massage therapy, the physiological effects on the human body of both general massage and medical massage therapy, the philosophy of patient treatment, and medical massage patient and practice management. Upon completion of the course material and of the accompanying quiz, three (3) CEs are awarded with a certificate of completion for this continuing education program from American Health Source which is an NCBTMB approved CE provider.
