You are in the middle of a roleplay scenario and your friend has joined the server. Wondering were you might be they attempt to communicate with you using sources outside of game such as calling you on discord and writing to you on steam. What do you do?

Wait till both you and your friend are no longer playing on the server and explain the situation.

Wait till you see them in game and explain out of character why you couldn't talk earlier.

Accept the call and tell them you are in the middle of a RP Scenario and can't talk.

Wait till neither of you are playing and refer them to the rules section so that they don't break your immersion again.

Ignore them and tell them were you are after the scenario is over.

You are role playing as a thief/bandit with a group of your friends. You bump into a player who is on his own and poses no threat and you have no history with this person before. You group decide to engage in a RP robbery. One of your group members demands the player to drop there items within a specified and unrealistic time limit or they will die. Your group member then proceeds to count down very quickly giving very little room for roleplay. Victim of the robbery is killed by a member of your group because of that initiation. What was wrong with that scenario?

Victim did not comply fast enough

Group member should of gave more time

We should of allowed more time in the robbery for roleplay to take place before killing the victim or robbing them

We should not of challenged the victim to drop there items within a time limit. We had no reason to rob him anyway.

When is it okay to kill someone in self defense if they are being aggressive towards you?

When there actions towards you are deemed threatening

When your character fears for there life

When the aggressor goes past words and starts taking actions such as raising and aiming a firearm or holding a melee weapon in an attacking stance

You are the aggressor in a roleplay situation. Should you be allowed to kill the person you are engaging if you raised your weapon first?

No that is technically KOS you should never kill someone unless they attempt to defend themselves

Yes but I need a valid reason. History with this person with the same characters on both sides prior to this incident or it was building up from the current situation. Even then I should make sure my reason for killing this person is justified and well role played.

Yeah I showed my intentions towards this person and they should be aware this is the apocalypse sometimes these things happen.

Can you enagage a player with hostile intentions at a distance using radios to roleplay the scenario?

No this is essentially forcing the player into a situation they can not role play out of thus forcing them to roleplay in on way which benefits the attacker with no wiggle room for the defending player to enrage in any sort of roleplay at all.

Of course as long as they can hear me and I can hear them it is still role playing and can create some intense situation for everyone
